Birdsall Engineering, Inc. seeks a highly motivated individual to fill a senior level Planning position in the Cranford, NJ office. Specific tasks include master plans, zoning, land use planning and professional testimony, urban design, and redevelopment for private and municipal clients. Candidate should be knowledgeable with New Jersey Environmental and Planning statutes. Potential candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, practical experience such as facilitating public meetings and preparing and presenting reports and proposals using verbal, written, and graphic presentation skills. Strong public presentation and project management skills are essential. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) AutoCAD and Photoshop computer experience is desired. The ideal applicant should have a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture or related field. 3 to 5 years of progressive responsibility in comprehensive planning and NJPP & AICP certification are a must.
