Supervising Planner, Transportation
Monmouth County Planning Board

The Monmouth County Planning Board is seeking to hire a Supervising Planner to head the Monmouth County Planning Board’s Transportation Section. This section is involved of variety of exciting studies and projects and will be preparing a transportation master plan for the county. The candidate will be supervising two planners to assist with the array of projects.

Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with 12 semester hours in professional planning subjects
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in municipal, county, regional or state planning, one year of which shall have included supervisory experience
• A license as a Professional Planner, issued by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Planners is required.

Note: A master’s degree may be substituted for one (1) year of non-supervisory experience.

Experience
Applicants must possess excellent organizational, project management, grant administration, supervisory as well as written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to work effectively with the public and other agencies.

Salary: $54,000-$98,799 (DOQ)
